Puke-go-round!

Even though Christmas is over, we (being Cassie, Meredith, Shawn, Gwen and Ping) still had a Christmas gathering at my house yesterday for gift exchange and to just slack around. It was much fun and much pigging out!

What we did:
1) Played mahjong even though only one of us really knew how to play. And all of us have our own special ways of calling out for tiles! Instead of saying peng or chi like people normally do, we make funny noises/say funny things such as "I want" for peng and "wo yao" for chi and going "nehnehnehneh" and WAIT!

2) ATE A LOT! They bought things over to my house for me! Sort of like a mini hamper without the basket but I like all the things they bought! They got me 2 bags of The Natural gummies which are very nice indeed, a box of 24 Ferrero Rocher, an entire big bag of Cadbury 3 in 1 Hot Chocolate Drink, a big pack of Spin Cracker and another big bag of Potato Sticks. We wolfed down the Spin Cracker and Potato Sticks while playing mahjong, and that was after we had lunch.

3) Exchange gifts! We had so many gifts that for a while we sounded like a busy marketplace! "Shawn this is yours! Cassie! Meredith!... Then we had gift opening! (:

4) Swing/See-saw at the playground! After Ping and Gwen left, the rest of us trooped down to the playground. We ran for the swings first, then played around the monkey bars. Following that Meredith spotted the modern, spring typed see-saw and we decided to sit on it. Forced Cassie onto it and made her looked like overgrown children with us. Took photos and we tried to take pictures of us swinging!

5) Merry Puke-go-round! I told them about the merry-go-round at the other playground and they exclaimedin delight so we went over and found out that merry-go-rounds are not harmless, innocent play objects! Excitedly, the 4 of us ran and hopped onto the merry-go-round and discovered how scary and how quick it went! We screamed ourselves silly! When it finally stopped, we thought it was fun and decided to try it again! This time I nearly flew off and we kept screaming and screaming for it to stop. You would have thought we had learnt out lessons and leave the merry-go-round alone! But nope. We thought it would be funny to video it down and so we spun again! Except this time it wasn't so fun for we all nearly threw up after that. We couldn't stand/walk and had to sit down to recuperate. The video is hilarious though!

6) Stone walking path! It was then when I spotted the stone-walking thing and suggested we try. IT HURTS SO MUCH! Me, being the chicken walked a little and just stopped to look at the other 3 ahead. Then Meredith and Cassie stopped and decided to walk back while Shawn walked right ahead! Then Meredith say we must be a sport and finished at least one round! So off we went trying to finish one round and we did! It became funny towards the end as we were all walking funny due to the pain.

It was so much fun! Especially the Puke-go-round experience!
